Well apparently I have alot to post about today, I didn't realize it until I wrote the title of my post lol.

First, I got accepted to sell at Elemental Scraps which I'm very excited about, I love that store.

I have a new kit that I love, I think it's my favorite thing I've done. It's called Wishful Whimsy and you can get it here at Scrappin Freestyle and here at Elemental Scraps.

Well, I've started a new collection, I decided to make some CU princess templates based off some of the Disney princesses and I'm contemplating doing a kit for each color scheme of each princess but not positive on that one yet. New Commercial Use Layered Glass Butterfly

Well firstly, I already have 4 people lined up to redo their blogs for them.. I feel overwhelmed lol.

Also, I went to my college interview on Thursday. The director of admissions liked me and let me apply. Now I need to write an essay and hopefully I can get in. I also have to see if I can afford it. I have a meeting with the financial aid people on the 25th. It costs $45,000.. but I love the school and I really wanna go.

Ok, well firstly, I will not be doing a freebie everyday. Before I joined stores, I had time to do this but now I have products, kits, collabs, etc to do and I don't have enough time to do freebies everyday. I will be doing more than 1 freebie a week though. I will figure out some of kind of schedule so that the freebies are on the same day and I'll try to make sure I do it on those days.

Right now, I'm trying to get my "Every Girl Is A Princess" kit packaged and in stores. When I do get it done, I have a sampler freebie from it and some quickpages and brag book pages that some volunteers made using the kit. I'm also working on a surfing/beach type kit called "Surf Paradise". So far, I really like it, the colors are bright and nice. I'm trying to stick with a more realistic look from now on. I also have a new commercial use product that I need to package and get in stores. It's a kind of Build-A-Butterfly thing. It has different wings, bodies, antennas, etc and it's all in metal. Also comes with some beads to decorate it. But I need to redo my packaging.. which I hate.

Also, over the next couple of days, there probably won't be a freebie. Right now I'm busy completely redoing the look of my blog. And I'm very picky so it could take me a few days. I'm still unsure of what colors I want, I keep changing my mind.

Also, I haven't forgotten about the "Blessed" charm. I WILL do it, it'll be the first freebie I do when I start again.

Also, 2 people gave me a blog award. I wanna say thank you and I appreciate it. I don't have the time to pass it on right now but thank you.

Updates, Finally Done With Princess Kit, & College

Well, first, sorry I have not been posting. I've been focusing all my time on getting my princess kit done and I finally finished it last night. As soon as I make a preview for it later tonight or tomorrow, it'll be up in stores. I'll also be posting a sampler freebie from it tomorrow. And I was so busy with my niece and nephew being here. Plus, in about 2 hours I'm leaving to go stay with my sister for a week and a half in Ohio so I've been busy backing up all my stuff so I can take it to my sister's and be able to scrap. But then I have to download everything which is gonna take hours.

Anyways, I'm really excited. Last week I got something inviting me to an open house and the culinary school I wanna go to so I signed up for that on the 9th. Then the next day I got a call from someone from the school and I'll have a meeting with her when I get back from Ohio so I'm really excited. I really wanna go to this school.

Well, the other day Lynne from Baby Cakes Scraps emailed me inviting me to join Creative Scraps and since one of my other stores is closing I decided to. So you'll be able to get my stuff there now, I'll add it to my stores after I post this blog.

Sorry I have not been posting or giving out freebies. I've been sick and had some other things going on and haven't gotten much done. Also, my niece and nephew are here for a few days so I've been kinda busy. Yesterday I took my nephew to see "The Dark Knight", the new Batman movie and it was REALLY good and I don't even like Batman. It's not really a kids movie though, it's kind of violent, I had to close my eyes sometimes. But it's a really good movie.

Random Stuff, My Next Tattoo, & A Freebie

Well first, sorry I didn't post the next charm yesterday. I made all the charms ahead of time and I messed up on the next one and didn't realize it so I have to redo it and didn't get time yesterday. I'll redo it today and post it tomorrow.

Also, next week I think I'm going to continue with words on charms since I've been getting alot of suggestions and requests for certain words. So if you have any you'd like, feel free to let me know. I do personalized ones, I did one for someone who wanted their kids names. So don't be shy to email me or leave me a comment.

Anyways, even thought I just got my first tattoo, I'm already getting another one. I've been thinking about it alot and as I said before, I like my tattoos to mean something. My grandpa died 5 years ago and I've known I wanted to get something for him so I decided to go ahead and do it. I'm doing it within the next month because every year I go to Tennessee for my family reunion and my grandma (his wife) lives there and we stay with her so I'm gonna kinda surprise her. My grandpa loved the guitar and had this guitar for a long time and when he got cancer, he gave it to my cousin. His guitar is also engraved on his headstone. So I'm going to get his guitar on my leg and it'll have flowers and vines wrapping around it with a hummingbird drinking from one of the flowers. I chose the hummingbird because my grandma (his wife) loves them. She's not dead yet lol but she's gonna be buried next to my grandpa and they share a headstone so it's already made and her side has a hummingbird on it. So I'm kinda doing it as a surprise for her too. Then when my mom's parents die, I'll get one for them. And my mom and dad too. Now I just need to pick colors and what kind of flowers I want in the tattoo, decisions decisions.

Well, someone yesterday left a comment and mentioned something about my tattoo. It's healing, it doesn't hurt anymore but it's peeling and itches like crazy and I can't scratch it. It's driving me insane. But well worth it, I love it.

Also, someone asked me to make a charm that says blessed. I left a comment on their blog asking if they wanted a specific color but their blog didn't look like it got updated alot so I'm not sure they'll see it. Some Updates, Pictures, An Award, & About Freebies

Well first of all, I am sorry for the lack of freebies and posting. I still haven't been feeling well. I've also been very busy spending alot of time in search of items that are worth investing in to help my designing. I've been searching for 3 days lol. Not to mention I have 3 collab kits I'm participating in that I'm trying to get done on top of my princess kit I've been talking about. And then on top of that, I need to run challenges in my stores which I have not started yet but need to. I feel very overwhelmed and unproductive. I haven't gotten anything done.

On another note, my foot is still sore. The other night at 4 in the morning, it started to hurt so I looked down and it was swollen like 4 times it's size. I had to go wake my mom up but I was in excruciating pain and it took me 5 minutes just to walk from my room to hers and then she helped me back lol. I feel disabled. But the swelling has gone down and the tattoo is starting to scab over so it's healing. I wish it would hurry up. I think it swelled so much because that day I walked on it alot and attempted wearing shoes and going shopping even though I'm not supposed to. It was a bad idea since I ended up taking my shoes off and walking around Target barefoot 5 minutes after we got there. I'll post more pictures from our tattoo party at the end of this entry.

Well, and now about freebies. I have decided that I will not be doing anymore Lil Furry Guys. Although there will be some in an upcoming freebie collab kit so look out for that. But now I need to decide on a new line of freebies to give. I was thinking something like metal charms everyday? Or like word art with a quote. Just for the next week, then next week I'll do some kind of new line. If anyone has any ideas or likes one of my ideas, let me know.

I am sorry I didn't post a freebie today but I've been busy all day and I'm not feeling very good. Also, my foot is so sore from my tattoo and it's hard to avoid since I do have to walk. I finally got it.. it took them a half hour just to get me to let them start cause I was nervous it'd hurt. Then I finally let him go and it didn't hurt that bad. Only in some spots like towards my toes and around my ankle. It took about an hour and a half. The colors I picked kinda stand for myself and people important to me.

Well, today I'm getting my tattoo, in 2 hours. I'm excited lol but I'm nervous cause I'm not sure how well I'll take the pain. I'll post pictures of it later.

Some Updates & About Today's Freebies

Well firstly, the 4shared issue has been sorted out and everything should be ok now. But still let me know if you have any problem downloading any of my freebies.

Tomorrow I'm getting my tattoo so I'm excited, I'll post pictures of it when it's done. Hopefully I go through with it lol. I don't take pain well.. and it'll be on my foot which is like all bone.

And about today's freebies. Being that it's the 4th of July, I will mostly be busy all day. Stupid 4shared & Lil Furry Guy #8

Ok well first of all, today ALOT of people who use 4shared had an abuse folder show up in their files. Some of them now can't even get into their accounts. I had an abuse folder show up and it's SUPPOSED to mean I have copyrighted files in my account. And that is so stupid because anything I have made has been made completely by me or from CU items. So why I have gotten the abuse folder, I don't know. And if someone reported me then maybe you should double check what you're reporting first and then go out and get a life. Not only is this happening to me but I know of over 30 other people.

So all in all, if my freebie files get deleted, I will make a new account and repost the bigger freebies for you guys to download. If any of my downloads are not working please let me know. It should be anytime now that they make it so I can't log onto my account.

Also, I'm working on my first action. In my last post, I talked about the princess castle I made completely from nothing in Photoshop so I'v decided to make it into a CU action and sell it in my stores. Not sure of a price yet.

Also, I plan on coming up with a new freebie line for you guys. Like the Candy Land and Lil Furry Guys where you get one a day and they all go together.

Out Of My Rut & Lil Furry "Guy" #7

Well, like I said yesterday I was in a rut and then I got an idea for my next PTU kit and I have started it and so far, it's been my favorite I've done. This morning I spent hours making a princess castle from nothing on Photoshop and I love it. You guys can see it in the preview when my kit is done. I might give a sample of the kit, not sure yet.

Also, I plan on trying to come up with ideas for some new freebies for you guys.

Designing Rut & Lil Furry Guy #6

Well, a few posts ago I told you how the winners of my contest got to pick my color swatches for my next 2 PTU kits, and I got the first color swatch a few days ago. When I first saw it, I loved the colors and I still do but they've been a challenge for me.. they're dark, calm colors and I usually tend to go for bright and vibrant. I wanted it to have a more realistic look and I'm having ALOT of trouble. I don't have the money to buy CU items and actions so I don't have much to work with unless my products start selling so I'm in kind of a rut.. so sorry if I don't have too much for a while, I'm trying my best. And to the people who won, sorry if it takes a while for your kit to be finished.

Also, I'm glad everyone likes my Jean Pockets.. I've had over 70 comments on them and more than 650 downloads.

Scanning Spree & Random Post

I've been up all night and I'm bored and so I went to scan one thing and ended up scanning 74.. lol. I scanned everything from clothes to binders and anything else I thought I could use.

While I was look for things to scan.. I found this, I made it in Kindergarden but I'm not sure why my L is a backwards J.

Well, I have finally finished the freebie kit. I think I'm happy with how it turned out. I tried to make alot of this stuff myself without any templates or CU items and I think I did ok for the things I did make. I didn't make everything in the kit. But I made the swing by myself lol. And also the butterfly I made I think is so cute.

So anyways, the name I decided on was Pastel Playground. I also liked the idea Pitter Patter but I figured Pastel Playground matched the kit more. But Pastel Playground was submitted by 2 people. So I've decided the the one who submitted it first will get to pick the colors for my next PTU kit and they will get it free. The one who submitted it second, will also pick a set of colors but that set will be for the PTU kit I do after this PTU kit and she will get it for free lol. If that makes sense. Basically, I'm letting them pick the colors of my next two kits.

Also, should I make an alpha freebie for this? If enough people want me to then I will.

Our first winner was Leaonna at Busy Scrappin. She will pick the colors for my next PTU kit and get it for free.

How'd I Do? Sneak Peek at Freebie Kit

Well, if you've read all the other posts about the next freebie kit then you know what the theme is. From now on, I'm trying to make everything in my kits myself besides a few things so I decided to try and make a swing set to go in this kit. This is what I came up with, I feel like I did a good job but let me know what you think. This will be in the kit. It should be done within a day or two. Sorry, it's taking longer than I thought. I know the seats could look more realistic but I was having trouble with those. The actual one in the kit is bigger and looks better but yeah, any opinions? Keep it in the kit or should I get rid of it? Not sure how I feel about it.

In case you missed my last post, if you'd like to win my next PTU kit, then you have to name my next freebie kit. It's a child theme and I posted a color swatch in my previous entry. I've made a chalk hopscotch element and one of the papers has child's game names and sayings on them. So keep that in mind when naming it. You can enter as many names as you want. Well, everyone voted for a child like theme as the next freebie kit. I've made a color swatch and started a few papers and a few elements. I'm making a tagger size and a full size.

It's a child like theme and so far I've used doodle like flowers, stars, dots, and also made a chalk hop scotch element. 2 Freebies & Other Random Stuff

Well, since yesterday, I've been accepted to 2 other stores which I'm excited about. Possibly one other but it's not a for sure yet. I'm happy with how fast I'm moving along.

Well anyways, earlier I was messing around with PSP because I usually use Photoshop so I'm not very good at PSP and came up with some sort of ball of.. fur lol. So I decided to try and do something with it. I made some googly eyes in Photoshop and added those and a mouth and for the time being he's called Lil Furry Guy cause that's all I could think of lol. I'm not so sure how I feel about this one and if I like it or not. So let me know what you guys think, if you like them then I'll make a new one everyday for a week or 2. Everyday I'll make a new color and expression, etc. if I get a good response. Hopefully someone will have a use for this.

I'm still excited about selling at a store. I've applied to many others, just waiting on replies so wish me luck. Also, I was turned down by many stores because I'm 17. I guess you have to be 18 to sell there but I don't understand why. Why are their age limits on some stores and not others? I guess I'll just reapply when I turn 18.

Well, yesterday I posted the poll thinking that Patriotic would win as the next theme for the freebie kit but it looks like a Child theme is winning. I've already made the patriotic kit, it's called "Red, White, & Blue All Over" and if it doesn't win as the freebie kit then I'll just sell it for like $2.00-$3.00.

A CU Freebie and I Got Accepted to a Store

I'm excited. Today I was accepted at www.magical-scraps.com. They're all tagger size kits but I can't wait to get started and hopefully my kits will sell better in a store. So from now on I'll make a regular sized kit and a tagger version of it for the store. I'm still looking to get into other stores, so if anyone wouldn't mind me selling in their store, let me know.

Anyways, on another note, the poll for the next freebie closed and a kit won. I put a poll up on the side of my blog for you guys to vote on what it's theme will be. The poll ends at this time tomorrow. I'll post it within the next few days. The child theme would be doodle like, with little cars and other random things. And I think Patriotic is self explanatory.

Ty to everyone and a freebie kit

First of all, I wanna say thanks to everyone. When I made this blog I didn't expect anyone to come to it to be honest. But in just 2 days of it being up there's already been almost 1,000 page views, 515 visits, tons of comments on my 4shared and a few on my blog, and over 200 downloads of my freebies. My kit has even sold some which I did not expect at all. And I'm really happy since in order for me to make new kits without using the same elements, I need to sell kits to have money to buy supplies. As I said, I'm 17 so I don't have much money to spend on this right now. So I appreciate everyone downloading my freebies, leaving me comments, and supporting me. And thanks to anyone who buys my kit that I currently have for sale in my first post.

Now for the freebie kit. I'm not sure if I'm really happy with this one so let me know what you guys think. It's called "Whimsical Sky" and it has 10 papers and 39 elements. I know the elements preview isn't that good, but I'm still working on getting better at making previews.

Pictures, Preview, and Candy Land Freebie #2

Well, like I said in my post where I was doing my facts for being tagged, I have a niece who's 6 named Rhiannon and any pages I do and pictures I use, will probably be her so you'll see alot of her.

Her birthday was June 9th and she kept saying she wanted Taylor Swift concert tickets. She loves Taylor Swift, she knows all her songs and sings along with them and likes to act out her music videos. So Taylor Swift was having a concert with Rascal Flatts 5 days after Rhiannon's birthday so my mom bought us all tickets and we decided not to tell Rhiannon we were going until that day. We put the ticket in a box and wrapped it up and let her open it on the day of the concert. At first when she opened it, she said "It's nothing!" and we told her it was a ticket to go see Taylor Swift and her mouth fell open. Then we asked if she knew when it was and she said when and we told her we were going that night after dinner and her mouth fell open again and she stayed like that for about 5 minutes and didn't say a word.

So then she was excited and we went and me and her had seats close to the stage while the rest of our family sat in the lawn seats and I let her stand on the chair and have my camera and she took picture after picture non stop of Taylor Swift..

On the way home, Rhiannon, my nephew Gavin, and my mom's friend's son Aadon were obviously exhausted.. we didn't leave until about 11:30.
